DO BLACK LIVES MATTER?

“Police brutality” and “black lives matter,” are the marching tunes of minorities who have been taught through at least two generations that they need do nothing to care for themselves. The use of these terms is farcical on its face since the message is only that when white cops kill black men is there a travesty of justice.  Last Sunday, 18 blacks (I assume they were black) in Chicago were killed by other blacks. There is no outrage; the outrage is only exhibited when a white police officer kills a black man - outrage taught by black "leaders." radical leftists and sympathetic whites. These blacks who killed other blacks are more guilty than the white officer since we know the blacks intended to kill and we know the white officer did not since he was NOT charged with 1st degree murder.

WHY ARE BLACK KIDS IN POVERTY? - NOT “WHITE PRIVILEGE”

Since Lyndon Baines Johnson, all poor, including blacks, have learned they have no personal responsibility for their well-being.  The “great society” was designed to care for all the poor with no obligation on their part.  A majority of black kids are reared in homes with no fathers.  The mothers do not cooperate with state agencies responsible for determining parental responsibility and state agencies are happy with that because bloated welfare rolls mean bloated state employment. These kids receive horrid education, most of what they learn is from the streets.

In my 73 years I have had ONE black friend who did not eventually pull the race card.  The caption is “you have not been through the black experience.” There is no conversation about that.  That declaration is the end of the conversation.  True; I have not and I am quite happy about that because the “black experience” is poverty and hopelessness perpetuated by black “leaders” and cowardly or leftist whites.  My “white privilege” has nothing to do with inherited wealth.  I had a dad who said “I want you to do a stint in the military and to get a college degree.  After that you may do with your life as you choose.”  I honored those conditions and indeed he never expected anything else of me. And we are not talking about an ivy league school; we are talking about an inexpensive state university.  The “black experience” is absolutely miserable and dangerous inner-city schools where failure is an EXPECTATION (at least among fellow students). Then there are the mothers who collect welfare and watch TV and “dads” (genetically) who cannot be found.  In the years I finished college, other WHITE students lived together to minimize costs; many worked part-time and then migrated to all the enterprises we know today...public service, retail, government, manufacturing, management. Some got food stamps while in college, to which I objected but overall they lacked the entitlement mentality we enjoy from the black community.  Otherwise, they weren’t given anything except a family expectation that they prepare themselves to provide for themselves.  Not so in the black community.  Jeremiah Wright, Jesse Jackson Al Sharpton and the newer players insist that the only reason blacks do not succeed is whites “keeping them down” (I was accused of that once because a black man I supervised once asked to learn a new task, do it one time and then expected me to give him a reference that looked as if that was a part of his job duties and I refused to do that; eventually he sued me and many others saying just that: we intended to keep him from succeeding.  He gave up the case after working his way through three attorneys). 

LET US CALL “PROTESTS” “RIOTS”

Now we have “protesters” (has there ever before been such a bastardization of a term?) looting for their free TV’s and Nike’s claiming that this destructive, hateful and dangerous behavior is the only way to gain racial “justice” and “equality.” Hell, can’t get a decent job because I did nothing to make myself employable?  I’ll just take a free TV and a few Nike’s instead...and vote for politicians demanding “reparations” for crimes I did not suffer.  The disgusting part is that very few people have asserted loudly that the rioting is a farce, it is criminal and they should look to black leaders and sympathizers for their woes.  On paper this country has property rights but law enforcement will tell you to do nothing to violators; yet law enforcement does nothing either.  So, do we or don’t we have property rights?  I remember, probably in the 70’s in an incident in Iowa which did not have racial overtones, a homeowner had been burglarized and then set up a shot gun which would shoot whoever broke through his front door.  A burglar did; he was shot and then sued and won.  I agreed with the homeowner.  The question again, is “do we have property rights”? Does WalMart, Target, have property rights”?  The answer on paper is yes and the cities of Minneapolis and Chicago should be held civilly responsible for their failure to enforce these rights and any public official who saw the destruction coming and did nothing should be held criminally liable.  At least these worthless and dangerous city administrations better not berate these stores for refusing to re-build. Does the gay, black, female mayor of Chicago intend to use city funds to rebuild WalMart so WalMart does not have to make an insurance claims? I suspect not. Until governments enforce property rights we are left to enforce them as individuals while exposing ourselves to legal consequences.

BLACKS AND WHITE SYMPATHIZERS KEEP BLACKS “DOWN”

I owe minorities nothing except adherence to those laws and constitutional dictates that the “aggrieved” minorities themselves regard less and less with time. I signed no contract that causes me to owe minorities anything nor have I gained because of black slavery.  Blacks and their leaders have consigned them to poverty to maintain their own power.  If there is any cruelty, this is its source, not in how an errant white police officer kills a long-time criminal.  I confess to not being sure of the facts but I believe in the early 90’s the Catholic ArchDiocese in Washington DC said it would take 10,000 children from the inner city (read: blacks) into the catholic schools for education.  Clinton and Jackson nixed it.  Know why?  It had nothing to do with separation of church and state, it was the teachers’ unions and the black “leaders” that would lose power if these kids left the public school system and eventually became successful.  Another piece of history...I believe this was in the 80’s...New York (I know, this would never happen again here) enacted a law that said a black mother who did NOT keep her child in school would have her welfare check cut.  “Unconstitutional” decreed the courts.  Think about that; Ruth Bader Ginsburg insists the constitution must be an evolving document (I do not agree with that) so could not the courts have then said, “hey, if we are going to bring these kids out of poverty then we are going to have to cave on this one.”?  Same with all private schools.  The ONLY purpose of the tax dollar going to education is to educate kids, not to perpetuate the teachers’ unions or administrative racial hatred or poverty.  If we do not modify despicable practice in minority education the equity gap between whites and blacks will widen, for which I will accept no responsibility.

WALMART IS NOT RESPONSIBLE TO REBUILD A BURNED STORE

The gay, black, female mayor of Chicago is pleading with burned out businesses to re-build, offering no improved protection from the next riot and apparently not (a good thing)asserting racist behavior if they do pull out.  Would this have been different if this idiot thought of the presence of WalMart and Target as being jobs in the south side of the city rather than big, evil capitalist organizations?  Asked and answered.  Likewise she wants to make sure the police is a kinder/gentler organization which means whites in their houses will kill (black) home invaders (I am an equal opportunity shooter of home invaders so don’t worry about my actions being based on race), probably contributing to more loss of black life than a strong, aggressive police presence.

Minneapolis lost a manufacturing enterprise, employing at a decent wage, 50 people.  The mayor, of course, with no promises of improved city “services” wants this business to re-build.  The owner says he will not.  Could the mayor have insisted (to include the national guard if necessary) that he was not going to allow any destruction in his city?  He could have but that does not fit the mentality and acceptance of black “rage” and all the special dispensations allowed to this violent exhibiting of anger...again, not the result of anything productive whites did.

ANY EFFECT ON TRUMP IN 2020?

Will this black racism result in Trump’s defeat?  I don’t have a dog in this race.  I will not vote for a Democrat but Trump has disappointed me and I won’t vote for him again.  My hunch is he will win re-election.  The left believes that silence means assent to their evil agenda.  I don’t; I believe the silence is the “noise” at the polls made by people who don’t wish to be vilified for their beliefs.  Even if the Dems do work to steal the election I believe Trump will win.  What the Left must do but I expect is unable to do, in perpetuity, is listen to people who do not agree with them.  My guess is the left intent is to take over this country, violently if necessary, in the future and these riots and other leftist hatred of this country are simply dress rehearsals.  Hitler was able to take away guns; I don’t think people in this country are going to let that happen.

WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN?

What happened to George Floyd (a criminal with a violent past, BTW) should not have happened and the police officers should be prosecuted. That is the legal process. Why bail on a 2nd degree murder charge is $1,000,000 is beyond me unless the prosecutor thinks the officer is a flight risk. Otherwise it is nothing more than a cheap shot “proving" to the blacks that black lives matter.  After a fair trial and decision by a jury of his peers the officer is then jailed (if found guilty) for a long period of time and we move on.

Here is my bottom line:  white lives matter and even if they don’t to Washington D.C. or New York or Chicago or Philadelphia or Minneapolis,  mine does to me.  It will never be possible for anyone to take my life except by surprise.  I have a self-preservation mentality and I do not care about your grievances.  Take them to court and if you lose, get over it.  In any case be prepared to be met with lethal force if you think you are going to punish me for slavery or black deaths.  Stand up and police YOUR black communities, mourn the death of whites at the hands of blacks and then let’s get to the table.  Trust me though, what you won’t take from the table is “gimme’s.”
