No to Blakeman, Komatireddy & Hochul

I am a Libertarian but as that party rarely runs viable candidates I remain a registered Republican.  I will be a voter without a candidate this coming November.

I will not vote for Bruce Blakeman, Seritha Komatireddy or Nick Lalota in November.

Starting with truly evil Hochul, she has no concept of human rights or our constitution.  After SCOTUS ruled against her gun hatred she proceeded with more unconstitutional regulations, which will also be tossed. One specific rule of hers is identical to one in Hawaii which has recently been ruled unconstitutional. She has famously uttered “there is no good man with a gun.”  There are many of course, her security detail included(?).  If she had to personally pay for litigation through SCOTUS, she would be more discerning about which hatred to foist upon the voters in New York. She is likely giving money, or will, to Mamdani to fuel his Islamist agenda in New York City if she wins in November.  She openly resents wealthier people leaving the state, declaring they have an obligation to return to New York and pay for her programs.

But Bruce Blakeman is only marginally better.  The first red flag was his bragging that he works well with both Republicans and Democrats. This country is far too divided to believe one can make everybody happy.  His declaration to me means he cannot make tough or controversial decisions.  Nevertheless, I wrote him with questions about DEI in state government, gun rights and fueling Mamdani; his only replies were continuing campaign donation solicitations (at my request he has stopped the solicitations).  I do not vote “lesser of evils.”  I have a good friend whose name I typically write-in thus preserving my name on the voter roles. Blakeman will not get my vote.

Letisha James views the judiciary as her personal AR15 to be used against anyone with whom she does not agree.  Now she is going after the “Cornell 7” though completely silent when 8 women accused former governor Cuomo of sexual harassment. She too would be more careful if she had to personally pay for failed litigation. (I am cautiously optimistic that most of the boys will be cleared and cost the state and Cornell millions. Remember the Duke LaCrosse Four?)

On the other hand, I will not vote for her competitor, Saritha Komitareddy. I regret that I cannot vote for her.  She is perfectly credentialed with top notch experience. However, she accepted the endorsement of the “Black Caucus.”  The racial divide and the hatred black “leaders” have for this country is the most critical issue we are facing, having begun in the Obama dynasty and following through the Biden regime .  I asked her, twice, why she accepted that endorsement and received no answer.  That alone is my reason for not voting for her.  I have yet to learn of any organization with the word “black” in it that works to the benefit of all people. This might be her  elephant in the room.  I am a white male (neither proud or ashamed of my race or gender)  She does not get my vote.

Lastly, Nick Lalota, Federal House representative, does not get my vote.  I am a senior and am concerned about the lack of government assurances that social security and Medicare (not Medicaid) - the latter for which I have paid for 64 working years and continue to pay in my retirement years - will last me the rest of my life.  He has made sure that Suffolk County roads received a million dollars.  I would rather brave potholes since social security and medicare are higher priorities on my list.  To his credit, he has written back but had a sponge in his mouth when he did.  I did not see any assurances.

The Republicans are in a tough spot in “blue” New York.  They will not commit to common sense values if they believe that commitment costs them power and it might; but either they are willing to fall on their swords or they will not get my vote.  Unused power is worthless. I will forever respect unabashed libertarian (or conservative) truth to power; not deceptive election strategies. I would rather live under a despot like Hochul than a RiNo.
