We have appeased the hopes of the Marxists

Nothing about the capital riots bothers me.  I wish that other “mainstream” people, including me, had the courage to participate.  Washington D.C, and its monuments are no more sacred to me than WalMart, or Target, or a statue of a confederate soldier, or Christopher Columbus for that matter.  

For 40 years the cowardly RiNo’s have allowed this country to slowly move to the left under the command of democrats and leftist thinking.  Over the last four years this movement has picked up steam, using anyone who voted for Trump and any conservative thinking as scapegoats.  We have witnessed uncensored hatred of Trump and the “basket of deplorables” on social media.  Kathy Griffin carried, uncensored, a bloody likeness of Trump’s head. Trump’s counter points are blocked.  ANTIFA and BLM have damaged cities.  All of this behavior subtly is  sanctioned by the radical left, including Kamala Harris.  Biden lacks the brain to know exactly what is going on and what it means. And, he and his interests will always be protected from violence and asset seizure, no matter legislation or procedure.

The folks who “rioted” (that word is replaced by “peaceful protest” when the Left riots) are heroes in my opinion.  Certainly there are sheep as there is in any movement but these people, in my estimation, have something to lose.  ANTIFA/BLM does not.  Over the last year I have often quoted Janis Joplin who said “Freedom is just another word for nothing else to lose.”  We now witness why that matters.  When a malevolent ANTIFA thug burns a WalMart or tears down an offensive confederate statue, s/he will not be prosecuted and WalMart will suffer an insurance claim, let alone its right to do business.  Who is WalMart going to sue?  A college thug with no assets?  And Kamala Harris (fact) will bail the thug out of jail with the prosecutor finally dropping charges.

On the other hand, pick a member of middle America, in which I include myself.  I would have loved to join the Capital “peaceful protests” but I have a house, a wife and some cash to lose in addition to the likelihood I will be criminally prosecuted.  The Feds are looking for Capital “peaceful protest” members all over the country. Idiot deBlasio, the failed mayor of New York, says any employee of the city who participated in the protests will be fired. I have no doubt that he will do that but that is unconstitutional...so long as we have a Supreme Court with only nine members, five of which are conservative.  After Harris/Biden gets done with the court, it will be legal to fire any employee who participates in any expression the Marxist left finds offensive.

Truly, Washington D.C. is an oppressive machine.  Trump’s major failure in my opinion was to not crimp its style with budget vetoes that would have impeded the Left’s stampede toward Marxism (I have made that point many times before...fun to be in a minority).  The check book was his only weapon because of a hostile House and Federal Appeals Courts and he was too cowardly to use it. Retrospectively I don’t think he had anything to lose. I voted for Trump the first time but not the second. He did not advocate for me, the “middle American.”

I am extremely pessimistic about our future.  Europeans, prior to WWII exclaimed that if they “just give one more country to Hitler, he will leave us alone .”  That was called “appeasement.” In more subtle ways, until 2020, that was our governance...just give one more welfare program and the whole country will be happy; just let a black man out of jail and the blacks will no longer demonstrate the hatred they have for whites.  Prosecute the white pickup truck driver who dragged a black man along the road in Texas but do not prosecute the blacks who beat and burned two white men who got a flat tire on the south side of Chicago. Don’t prosecute ANTIFA for invading the property of a Saint Louis couple but prosecute the couple for producing weapons to discourage ANTIFA behavior. 

We are not witnessing the march toward socialism. Until this year I  believed  that was the parade.  Norway, Sweden, France.  Those are socialist countries. People are not beaten, their businesses destroyed because of opposing  viewpoints. We are now headed toward Marxism/Fascism where opposing viewpoints will be criminally prosecuted.  

I close by saying I have a lot to lose, now, but Harris/Biden ought to be careful; that might not always be the case with respect both to personal freedoms and assets.  Just wait until I am denied a medical procedure because within Obama’s “death panel”  I am too old or too white.
