Is Life That Tough, Meryl Streep?

How courageous is Meryl Streep! What a woman! To an audience in which 75% of the sheep agree with her and the other 25% cannot speak out (black-listing) for fear of losing work, she continues the Leftist legacy of ranting against Donald Trump. Life must be tough, leaving her multi-million dollar house and braving this hostile, racist, etc., nation we call the United States to lay it all on the line for the New World Order. These self-anointed Gods on the left deny the word “hypocrisy.” Calling Trump hateful, racist, etc. and then calling half of Trump’s supporters “deplorable” and “irredeemable” casts serious doubt on their integrity, not that they have yet realized that. Streep has the gall to stand on the very safe stage and claim that LaLaLand, along with her buds down at CNN and MSNBC, are the most vilified groups in the country? Are you shittin’ me? These folks brought it on themselves. We relied on them for news while they pierced rings in the noses of millions and lead them down the garden path.

Hollywood is not likely to change. The hatred these jerks spew is and should be protected by the First Amendment. The goal is the same as that in the McCarthy era except this is not government rooting out “evil.” It is a collection of private organizations rooting out the evil they identify as Trump, and us deplorables, of course. The good news is, on the small scale, those who said they would leave if Trump won have egg on their face; they just don’t have the courage to admit it and those who made the awful commercials (and continue to do so) will one day wake to a dose of reality: you lost; you are irrelevant. Use your ill-gained wealth to start corporations to employ inner-city kids or provide “free” health care or buy ad time urging congress to pass the Kate Steinle law.

I have never watched these self-adoring awards shows. I do not like the sound of bones cracking as these narcissists strain to pat themselves on the back. And now, of course, the rant is women and minorities are disproportionately small in numbers. It never stops. “Rotten Tomatoes” (movie rating web site) tells me more than do the award shows.

You are truly a miserable bunch of people and you are but one reason why I am so glad Trump won. The West side of the Cascades in Oregon and Washington, and the West side of the Sierra in California should consider seceding and if they do I can think of no better capital for the country of “Cascadia” than Hollywood. Take New York and Massachusetts with you. Boundaries to not require each piece of a nation to be connected to the others. Do NOT take British Columbia with you. British Columbia is a sane place that hides from the political correctness of Quebec. Don’t poison them too. Everybody in Cascadia, aka “Utopia” will be so happy and full of brotherly love the new country will be a great place to visit...and people can travel to either coast to be a part of it!
