Why Obama Will Not Win

A term pollsters use is “The Bradley Effect” which was a phrase coined after Tom Bradley, a black candidate for the governor of California, lost the race in 1982 although the polls said he would win. The meaning of this term is that white folks will not admit publicly or to pollsters that they will not vote for a black candidate but in fact many will not. We have come a long way since 1982, no thanks to Jesse Jackson, Martin Luther King (whose “dream” is corrupted by black “leaders”) or Louis Farrakhan, toward racial equality. Everybody is racist; the act of noting to oneself that the individual walking down the street in front of you is black is racist. Its politically correct use is as an inflammatory term translated to mean “lynching” and “cross burning.” That 95% of the blacks will vote for Obama is a perfect example of racism although that is a legal and harmless expression of opinion.

There is a new corollary to the Bradley Effect and I am proudly in that group. I vote Libertarian but with a gun to my head (seriously) would not vote for Obama. It is not because of his skin color but because of his Marxist philosophies and his genuine hatred of whites, we reasonably assume because of his 20-year bond with Jeremiah Wright and the regretful utterances of his awful wife. When Obama loses, the polls and the black sympathizers will claim that he lost only because “America is a racist country.” Thus, I will be a racist, according to the media. In fact I am not; and in any case am less so than the blacks who vote for him because of skin color. Obama is an exceptionally dangerous man who will strip whites of all wealth the Supreme Court, he hopes to appoint, will allow. He will release people carte blanch for bad personal choices. He will cultivate the victim mentality wherever it lies, He will buy United Auto Worker pensions and unemployment because at the wage of $95 per hour they priced themselves out of the international car market and are now unemployed or working for nearly bankrupt companies and are absolutely unrepentant. He will strip us of the right to protect ourselves from others or the government through gun ownership (good luck!) and he will attempt to outlaw any form of speech that does not feed the minority-as-victim mentality or his elitist ego. He sued banks to force them to make bad loans to minorities in inner-cities and as president with congressional support will buy those loans so those same minorities don’t have to make any mortgage payments…at all. While we whites in the suburbs continue to make our monthly mortgage payment.

I believe the portion of the non-victim electorate who has sought analysis from other than the major news networks understands Obama’s Marxist philosophy is not good for them or the country in the long run and I do not believe they will give up the personal freedoms Obama will exact in order to achieve some protection from his “collectivism” government. What percentage of the voting group these people comprise I confess I don’t know but I believe it is larger than the pollsters state. Even low-wage people will not all be in his camp because they understand when he strips the successful of their wealth, he strips them of their dreams of wealth. Soccer moms won’t vote for him because Sarah Palin is “one of them.” Obama’s vision is out in left field (pun intended).

Then there is the “Reagan Effect.” During the Reagan years we re-learned that we have nothing to be ashamed of being American. Obama wants to reverse that. He, William Ayers and his (Obama's) equally dangerous wife believe that American self-loathing is the only path to salvation. He supports a “world order” which requires us to abandon our constitution in favor of a “world government” (Obama being the appointed head of this continent of course).

The pollsters love Obama and while it is true that even conservative pollsters claim that Obama will win, I stand my ground. People who were either left carefully outside of the polls, mislead by deceptive questions, or are afraid of being labeled “racist” even though it is Obama’s Marxism that scares them toward voting for McCain, will not vote for Obama. Don’t call me “racist”! Offer me a Larry Elders or Clarence Thomas and he will get my vote. It is not race; it is about oppressive government hell-bent on destroying my lifestyle which I have earned not through the “white privilege” but through my work ethic.

I predict a margin of 2 – 4% for McCain in the popular vote. I am not savvy enough to determine how the electoral votes will tally. Inner-cities, get your fire and law enforcement departments ready. If I am right, and I so hope so, the inner cities won’t precisely where most folks will want to be on election night.

Does Sarah Palin have the experience?

So ask the headlines written by those who don’t like her or the novelty of someone from out of the beltway gaining power, someone who has not paid her dues…to the “establishment,” the feminists and the socialist democrats.

The answer is “It doesn’t matter.”

The loathing of Ronald Reagan was in part due to the failed hope that he would not succeed. He was not a brilliant man but his skill was in the selection of people who were. He did succeed. He had experience, of course, “managing” the state of California as Palin has Alaska, but he was also intuitive about choosing people who understood the system and the politics of D.C. better than he.

Historically, those most elitist of institutions, the public school systems, will not hire individual in to senior administration unless the candidate has an advanced degree in, well, uh, “education.” The candidate must have "experience" and qualifications." That should include a PhD in education. Unless of course the favored candidate is a black man. Then experience and qualifications no longer matter.

In the early 1990’s the Seattle public school system wanted a black man as superintendent. No matter his qualifications and experience. He had none. He had been a senior officer in the service. But because the school board wanted a black man and he met that sole qualification, he got the job. You still won’t see solicitations for those jobs sans the requirement for an advanced degree in education but if the school system wants an appointment for any reason other than competence, they will make that appointment and explain it to no one.

To the superintendent’s credit his background as a senior military officer meant that he had managerial skills and he did his best. He had some successes. Can anyone really manage a school system under the watchful eye of the U.S. Department of Education, a state’s department of education and the employees’ unions?

Sarah Palin does not need “experience.” What she has is a brain (she has a heart but that is not a qualification), the ability to surround herself with staff who complement her skills and knowledge, and a sincere interest (lacking in Washington) to serve the public. She is certainly more qualified than Obama whose credits include inciting black racists and suing banks that resisted making bad loans to blacks in impoverished communities.

Since “qualification” and “experience” are buzz words and their use is always shallow.
